What is it?

U-vend is designed to allow customers to achieve reduction in their consumables consumption by providing a fully-customised, fully-managed dispensing machine near to the point of use. Controlled by swipe card access or pin control, U-vend provides the same level of management controls available through any of our supply chain solutions and ensures the controlled supply and availability of consumables and spare parts at all times. When used in conjunction with our One-team fully managed on-site solution, the control of supply is unrivalled, ensuring maximum productivity with maximum visibility on spend and usage.

How does it work?

The user swipes their ID card or enters their pin to gain access to the U-vend dispensing platform to remove their item. Load sensors instantly recognise the change in stock weight and accurately gauge the corresponding change in product quantity. When the user closes the door to complete the transaction, the exact quantity of each product issued to the user is date and time stamped.


The U-vend dispensing platform automatically generates an order request on the system for any item beneath a pre-determined minimum which is sent electronically to the One-team on-site facility or to head office. The required product is picked and returned to site so that the U-vend platform can be replenished. Load sensors within the dispensing platform recognise the increase in stock weight and corresponding change in product quantity. Delivery is automatically date and time stamped against the individual replenishment of the unit, verifying and recording delivery performance to ensure continuous improvement.
